Suddenly, Lucy shouted with glee, “Look Sally! I can see the zoo! It’s not much further now!”

“Ahh, yes, I see it too!” she replied cheerfully.

“Just one more stop and we’ll be there.”

As they got closer to the entrance, Sally could see that the gates to the zoo were closed, and Zoe the Zookeeper was not letting anyone inside.

“Whatever’s the matter?” she asked.

“We have a really big problem,” replied Zoe worriedly…

“It’s such a hot day today, all the lions and tigers have escaped and they’re cooling off in the penguin pool. It’s far too dangerous to enter as they haven’t been fed yet, and the poor penguins are p-p-p-petrified!” continued Zoe.

“This has never happened before and I really don’t know what to do. Can anyone help me please?” she asked.

The children started scratching their heads, trying to think of a plan...
